The Deep Foreman
Level 26 Boss · The Sunken Mine
In Desperados Destiny, The Deep Foreman is a level 26 boss — a late-game threat for a well-equipped character.
Field notes
The foreman who ordered the controlled flood believing he was saving the operation — and drowned in the event he triggered. Now an armoured underwater revenant: ranged harpoon, then he floods the arena (drowning timer), then full submersion melee. Sequential unlock after the Brood Matriarch.
What you are walking into
The Deep Foreman is level 26, carries 390 health, and is classed Omen, a boss encounter. That makes it a late-game threat for a well-equipped character. It leans on pressure, degrading your draws before a card is turned; steady hands matter more than big ones. Every exchange resolves through the Destiny Deck: you draw five cards, choose what to hold, and the resulting poker hand decides how the action lands. Suit matches amplify the result, so the same fight against The Deep Foreman plays out differently each time you take it on.
Where to find The Deep Foreman
The Deep Foreman is encountered at The Sunken Mine. You will need to have discovered and travelled to that location before it can appear as a target, and travel between regions carries its own risks — routes are rolled for interception, and a bad roll puts an encounter between you and your destination. The full entry for The Sunken Mine covers what else is there.
What it drops
A kill pays 1820 experience and between $70 and $182. Its loot table can yield Foreman Sealed Order, Starmetal Ore, Silver Vein Raw and Cursed Iron. Drops are rolled per kill, so a full set takes repeat hunting. The first time you kill any species it is also recorded in your Field Guide, which pays a large one-off experience bonus and counts toward the Guide's completion milestones.
