A merchant in the same hole as Pike, deeper. Will pay anything to get out — including telling you what Voss prefers kept quiet. Etta is the one Pike points to when a stranger asks the right question gently enough.
What you are walking into
Etta Frye is level 6, carries 100 health, and is classed Vulture. That makes it a mid-low threat for a character finding their feet. It has no trick to it beyond persistence, so the fight comes down to your draws and your gear. Every exchange resolves through the Destiny Deck: you draw five cards, choose what to hold, and the resulting poker hand decides how the action lands. Suit matches amplify the result, so the same fight against Etta Frye plays out differently each time you take it on.

Etta Frye is encountered at Red Gulch.
