The Storm-Dreamer
Level 18 Boss · Mountain Peak
In Desperados Destiny, The Storm-Dreamer is a level 18 boss — a mid-game threat that expects a built character.
Field notes
A Nahi shaman who ascended to the summit seeking a vision and never returned — now a permanent atmospheric phenomenon, half-man and half-weather. His arrival is preceded by hailstorm; the fight ends in a vision-state where you face your own shadow. The Tier-2/Tier-3 boundary boss.
What you are walking into
The Storm-Dreamer is level 18, carries 270 health, and is classed Omen, a boss encounter. That makes it a mid-game threat that expects a built character. It leans on pressure, degrading your draws before a card is turned; steady hands matter more than big ones. Every exchange resolves through the Destiny Deck: you draw five cards, choose what to hold, and the resulting poker hand decides how the action lands. Suit matches amplify the result, so the same fight against The Storm-Dreamer plays out differently each time you take it on.
Where to find The Storm-Dreamer
The Storm-Dreamer is encountered at Mountain Peak. You will need to have discovered and travelled to that location before it can appear as a target, and travel between regions carries its own risks — routes are rolled for interception, and a bad roll puts an encounter between you and your destination. The full entry for Mountain Peak covers what else is there.
What it drops
A kill pays 1440 experience and between $77 and $182. Its loot table can yield Storm Dreamers Feather Robe, Eagle Feathers and Ice Crystal. Drops are rolled per kill, so a full set takes repeat hunting. The first time you kill any species it is also recorded in your Field Guide, which pays a large one-off experience bonus and counts toward the Guide's completion milestones.
