The Stockade is a fort in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A grim stone building with barred windows and a heavy oak door. The military prison holds deserters, captured outlaws, and soldiers awaiting court martial. Warden Kane charges by the hour for a cell without a draft. Screams echo from the punishment cells at night.

Getting there
The Stockade is a fort; in the Town region, and expects a character of at least level 8. It is dangerous country, and the roads to it are worse than the place itself. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
