The Pit is a fighting pit in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A sunken arena where men fight for dollars and glory. Blood stains the sand and the crowd howls for violence. Only the strong survive The Pit.
What you notice standing there
Torchlight flickers across bloodstained sand. The crowd presses against the rope barriers, screaming for blood. The smell of sweat, fear, and copper hangs heavy in the air.
Getting there
The Pit is a fighting pit; in the Town region. It is among the most dangerous ground in the Territory. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
