The Bandit Fortress is a fort in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A fortified stronghold in the badlands where the most dangerous outlaws make their base. Originally a settler fort, it was overrun years ago and now serves as headquarters for multiple gangs who share an uneasy alliance. The fortress is heavily guarded with lookouts, traps, and professional killers. Only the foolhardy or extremely skilled dare approach.
What you notice standing there
Thick walls bristle with armed guards. Watch towers scan the approaches. The smell of gunpowder and violence hangs heavy. Inside, the worst criminals in the territory gather, drink, and plan their next crimes. Trust is nonexistent.
Getting there
The Bandit Fortress is a fort; it sits in the Outlaw Territory zone, in the Outlaw Territory region. It is among the most dangerous ground in the Territory. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
