Tanner's Camp is a leatherworker in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
Half open-air yard, half covered workshop. Dry Smoke treats hides with a smoke-curing method passed down through generations, producing leather that lasts decades and resists the desert heat.
What you notice standing there
The sharp smell of tannin and wood smoke. Stretched hides hang on frames in rows. A slow fire burns in a covered pit, and the air above it shimmers with the scent of cedar and juniper.
Getting there
Tanner's Camp is a leatherworker; in the Town region. It is low-risk country — trouble is possible but uncommon. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
