Smuggler's Den is a smugglers den in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
Hidden beneath an abandoned church, the Den is where smugglers plan their routes and fence their contraband. La Sombra runs the operation with ruthless precision.
What you notice standing there
Crates marked with coded symbols fill the underground chamber. Maps of smuggling routes cover the walls. The air is thick with the smell of tobacco and gunpowder.
Getting there
Smuggler's Den is a smugglers den; in the Town region. It is dangerous country, and the roads to it are worse than the place itself. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
