Sheriff's Waypost is a sheriff office in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A small law enforcement outpost manned by Deputy Marshal Roy Goodman, a young idealistic lawman trying to keep order on the frontier. His office serves as courthouse, jail, and legal center for the crossroads. Wanted posters cover every wall.
What you notice standing there
A modest office with a desk, gun rack, and two jail cells in back. Wanted posters paper the walls like grim wallpaper. The smell of gun oil and old coffee pervades. Roy keeps everything meticulously organized, maintaining order in his small corner of chaos.
Getting there
Sheriff's Waypost is a sheriff office; in the Town region. It is low-risk country — trouble is possible but uncommon. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
