Scavenger's Camp is a trading post in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A sprawling camp built from scrap metal, canvas, and desperation. Scavengers bring salvage from the ruins to trade for food, water, and ammunition. No questions asked, no laws enforced - stolen goods are the primary currency here. Rust-King runs the operation with cunning and calculated violence.
What you notice standing there
The camp sprawls in chaotic clusters - tents, lean-tos, and scrap structures housing dozens of desperate souls. The air reeks of unwashed bodies, rust, and fear. Armed guards watch every transaction. Trust is nonexistent. Survival is everything.
Getting there
Scavenger's Camp is a trading post; in the Dusty Flats region, and expects a character of at least level 25. It is dangerous country, and the roads to it are worse than the place itself. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
