Rusty Spur Inn is a hotel in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A decrepit hotel where wanted men rent rooms by the hour and secrets are buried in every wall. Innkeeper Morton "Mort" Graves sees everything from his desk and remembers it all. The rooms smell of old tobacco and older sins.
What you notice standing there
Faded wallpaper peels from water-stained walls. Floorboards creak with every step. The smell of cheap whiskey and gunpowder pervades everything. Every room has bloodstains someone tried to scrub out. Mort watches from behind his desk like a vulture waiting for death.
Getting there
Rusty Spur Inn is a hotel; in the Town region. It is dangerous country, and the roads to it are worse than the place itself. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
