Rope Bridge Crossing is a canyon in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A terrifying rope bridge spanning a 300-foot chasm. One-Arm Omar maintains the bridge and collects tolls from travelers. The bridge sways sickeningly in the wind, and the planks are worryingly spaced.
What you notice standing there
The bridge groans and sways in the constant wind. Frayed ropes creak ominously. Far below, the river looks like a thin ribbon. One wrong step means certain death. The wind carries the scent of fear.
Getting there
Rope Bridge Crossing is a canyon; in the Outlaw Territory region. It is dangerous country, and the roads to it are worse than the place itself. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
