Raider Stronghold is a fort in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A fortress built from scavenged metal, reinforced concrete, and audacity. Iron-Chief commands fifty of the most brutal raiders in The Wastes from this stronghold. Spikes bearing skulls ring the walls. Cages hold prisoners awaiting ransom or death. This is the heart of raider power in the wasteland.
What you notice standing there
Armed raiders patrol rusted ramparts. The courtyard serves as training ground, execution square, and war planning center. Weapon racks line every wall. The smell of gunpowder, sweat, and blood hangs heavy. Loyalty is tested daily through violence. Weakness means death.
Getting there
Raider Stronghold is a fort; in the Dusty Flats region, and expects a character of at least level 28. It is among the most dangerous ground in the Territory. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
