Outlaw's Rest is a hideout in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
The most dangerous building in Whiskey Bend. "One-Eye" Jack Raven runs it as neutral ground for outlaws to meet, plan heists, and recruit gang members. Walking in means accepting the outlaw code or dying.
What you notice standing there
Gun oil, tobacco, and old leather. Maps cover the walls with heist routes and bank layouts. Wanted posters serve as wallpaper, many featuring the current occupants. The air crackles with barely contained violence. Everyone here has killed, and most wear it proudly.
Getting there
Outlaw's Rest is a hideout; in the Town region, and expects a character of at least level 5. It is among the most dangerous ground in the Territory. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
