Nahi Burial Site (Red Gulch) is a sacred site in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
The land beneath Red Gulch's foundations. Original surveyor maps from 1848 marked this as sacred Nahi ground. Burial site. Sealed place. Warnings in three languages: DO NOT BUILD HERE. Baron Whitmore's grandfather bought it cheap—nobody else wanted cursed land. He built anyway. Built a town. Built a mine. Made a fortune. Three civilizations warned against disturbing this ground. American exceptionalism said "watch me." The town stands on graves. The mine digs into a prison. Manifest Destiny meets bedrock.
Getting there
Nahi Burial Site (Red Gulch) is a sacred site; it sits in the Settler Territory zone, in the Sacred Lands region, and expects a character of at least level 7. It is dangerous country, and the roads to it are worse than the place itself. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
