Iron Jake's Forge is a blacksmith in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
The sound of hammering never stops at Iron Jake's. He crafts everything from horseshoes to gun barrels, and his work is known throughout the territory. His apprentice Li Jian shows promise, despite the scars, and One-Arm Wilson handles the "special" commissions.
What you notice standing there
The forge glows red-hot, casting dancing shadows. Sparks fly as hammer meets metal. The smell of coal smoke and hot iron fills the air. In the back, behind locked doors, more specialized work is done.
Getting there
Iron Jake's Forge is a blacksmith; in the Town region. It is low-risk country — trouble is possible but uncommon. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
