Devil's Canyon - Lower Gorge is a canyon in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
The shaded floor of Devil's Canyon where a powerful stream has carved through solid rock for millennia. Rare fish inhabit the deep pools, and unique canyon minerals wash down from above. Cave systems honeycomb the walls, some leading to ancient ruins that predate settler arrival.
What you notice standing there
Cool and shadowed, the gorge feels like another world. Water rushes over smooth stones. Cave mouths yawn in the walls, promising mystery and danger. Strange echoes bounce off the stone, making you feel watched.
Getting there
Devil's Canyon - Lower Gorge is a canyon; it sits in the Frontier zone, in the Frontier region. It is among the most dangerous ground in the Territory. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
