Crazy Pete's Gunsmith Shack is a blacksmith in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A ramshackle workshop where Crazy Pete crafts and modifies weapons that no legitimate gunsmith would touch. His work is brilliant but dangerous - hair triggers, custom chambers, hidden mechanisms. Everything here is illegal, and Pete doesn't care one bit. He lost his mind years ago but never lost his skills.
What you notice standing there
Gun parts litter every surface. Half-assembled weapons hang from the ceiling. The smell of gun oil and metal filings fills the air. Pete mutters to himself while working, occasionally cackling at private jokes. Test-firing happens at all hours, startling anyone nearby.
Getting there
Crazy Pete's Gunsmith Shack is a blacksmith; it sits in the Outlaw Territory zone, in the Outlaw Territory region. It is dangerous country, and the roads to it are worse than the place itself. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
