Cattle Pens is a ranch in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
Sturdy wooden corrals hold hundreds of longhorn cattle, the lifeblood of the ranch. The smell of livestock fills the air, along with the constant lowing of cattle and the crack of foreman Diego's whip.
What you notice standing there
Dust rises from the cattle pens as cowhands work the herd. Branding irons heat in a small forge. The constant sound of mooing cattle and shouted commands fills the air. It's honest, hard work.
Getting there
Cattle Pens is a ranch; in the Town region. It is low-risk country — trouble is possible but uncommon. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
