Canyon Overlook is a canyon in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A breathtaking viewpoint at the canyon's edge where red rock walls plunge 800 feet into the shadowed depths below. Running Deer, a Nahi elder, offers guided tours and safe passage to those who show proper respect for this sacred land.
What you notice standing there
Wind howls across the canyon rim, carrying the scent of sage and ancient stone. Eagles soar below the overlook. The view stretches for miles - crimson walls, shadowed caves, and the silver ribbon of a river far below.
Getting there
Canyon Overlook is a canyon; in the Sacred Lands region. It carries real risk; travel here is not something to do underlevelled. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
