Broken Bottle Brawl Pit is a fighting pit in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
An underground fighting arena where men settle disputes with fists, knives, and sometimes guns. "Crusher" Carlotta Vega runs the bloodiest entertainment in the territory. Every fight is to submission or death.
What you notice standing there
The crowd roars around a sunken dirt pit stained brown with old blood. Oil lamps cast flickering shadows on eager faces. Money changes hands as bets fly. The smell of sweat, blood, and violence fills the cramped space. Fighters emerge from tunnels like gladiators to cheers or jeers.
Getting there
Broken Bottle Brawl Pit is a fighting pit; in the Town region, and expects a character of at least level 3. It is dangerous country, and the roads to it are worse than the place itself. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
