Ashford Company Depot is a outpost in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A fortified warehouse and supply depot operated by the Ashford Mining Company. Guarded by Company men, it stores mining equipment, explosives, and refined ore awaiting shipment. The Company Manager keeps tight control over inventory, but rumors say goods sometimes "disappear" from the manifests.
What you notice standing there
Armed guards patrol the perimeter of a large wooden warehouse. Wagons come and go, loaded with crates and equipment. The smell of machine oil and gunpowder drifts from inside. Everything is orderly and militaristic.
Getting there
Ashford Company Depot is a outpost; it sits in the Settler Territory zone, in the Town region. It is low-risk country — trouble is possible but uncommon. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
