Ancient Chamber (800 feet) is a cave in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
The miners broke through on Tuesday. The foreman ordered it sealed by Wednesday. Too late. The chamber predates the mine by centuries. Stone walls carved with warnings in three languages: Nahi pictographs, Spanish colonial script, and something older—symbols that hurt to look at. The center: a stone seal. Cracked but holding. The air vibrates. Every miner who entered reported nightmares. One jumped off the canyon rim. Whitmore calls it superstition. The Nahi call it prophecy. You call it Tuesday.
Getting there
Ancient Chamber (800 feet) is a cave; it sits in the Settler Territory zone, in the Dusty Flats region, and expects a character of at least level 6. It is dangerous country, and the roads to it are worse than the place itself. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
