The Slop House is a saloon in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
The working man's tavern, where miners drink away their sorrows and secrets flow like cheap whiskey. "Mag" Sullivan knows everyone and everything in Lower Town, and for the right price, she'll share.
What you notice standing there
Sawdust on the floor, spit on the walls. The smell of cheap beer and desperation. Workers crowd the bar after shifts, spending what little they earned. In corners, quieter deals are made.
Getting there
The Slop House is a saloon; in the Town region. It carries real risk; travel here is not something to do underlevelled. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
What hunts here
One creature is known to range around The Slop House: "Iron" Jack Thornwood (level 10). Each is recorded separately in the Field Guide, and a first kill on any species pays a substantial one-off experience bonus.
