The Lucky Strike Saloon is a saloon in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
Red Gulch's beating heart and bleeding wound. Piano music, spilled whiskey, and violence. The bar is scarred from knife fights. The floor is stained from blood and worse. Miners drink away their wages. Railroad workers plot revenge. Outlaws cut deals in corners. Marshal Hawkins visits twice a day—once to prevent murders, once to investigate them. The bartender keeps a shotgun under the counter and knows everyone's secrets.
Getting there
The Lucky Strike Saloon is a saloon; it sits in the Settler Territory zone, in the Town region. It carries real risk; travel here is not something to do underlevelled. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
