The Hideout is a hideout in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A fortified compound deep in Frontera territory where outlaws plan heists, divide loot, and hide from the law. Multiple rooms serve different purposes: the main hall for meetings, storage for stolen goods, and secret tunnels for quick escapes. Only trusted members are allowed inside.
What you notice standing there
Thick adobe walls keep the hideout cool. Maps cover the tables, marking targets and escape routes. Wanted posters line the walls - many featuring people currently in the room. Guns are stacked in corners, ready for the next job.
Getting there
The Hideout is a hideout; it sits in the Outlaw Territory zone, in the Outlaw Territory region. It is dangerous country, and the roads to it are worse than the place itself. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
