Los Establos del Diablo is a stable in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
The Devil's Stables, where El Jinete keeps the fastest horses in the territory and trains riders who want to stay alive on the open trail. He speaks to the animals in a language no one else understands, and the animals listen. The horses here are not tame. They are persuaded.
What you notice standing there
Dust motes float through shafts of light between warped planks. Horses shift and breathe in their stalls, muscles rippling beneath scarred hides. El Jinete moves among them without a sound, touching flanks and whispering words that settle even the wildest stallions. The hay smells of the open desert.
Getting there
Los Establos del Diablo is a stable; in the Town region. It carries real risk; travel here is not something to do underlevelled. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
