Bandit Lookout is a hideout in the Sangre Territory, the 1869 frontier setting of the free browser MMO Desperados Destiny.
The place itself
A fortified position on a narrow ledge with a commanding view of the canyon approaches. The Canyon Ghost gang uses this as their base for ambushing travelers and storing stolen goods. Heavily guarded and dangerous.
What you notice standing there
Rough men clean weapons and count loot. A lookout watches the canyon trails through a spyglass. Stolen goods are stacked haphazardly. The smell of whiskey and gun oil fills the air. Tension crackles - everyone here is wanted.
Getting there
Bandit Lookout is a hideout; in the Outlaw Territory region, and expects a character of at least level 8. It is among the most dangerous ground in the Territory. Travel in Desperados Destiny costs energy and takes in-game time, and a route can be interrupted — the danger rating of the road feeds directly into how often that happens. Locations must be discovered before you can travel to them directly, and discovering one for the first time pays experience.
